Anjana Sankhil is a post-doctoral fellow at CDDEP’s New Delhi office. She is part of the team that is conducting a five-year RCT study on evaluating the impact of Magic Bus sports based curriculum on children’s health, education, and personality development. Prior to joining CDDEP, she was with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) working with the same team on this experimental study.
In the past, she has worked with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on migration, poverty, and access to health care, a study on people’s access and health system’s responsiveness in Delhi.
Anjana Sankhil received her Ph.D. in medical anthropology from the University of Delhi. She has worked extensively with HIV/AIDS patients during her doctoral dissertation.
Her primary research interests include HIV/AIDS, physical activity, & public health.
