Wendi Jiang is a Research Analyst based in CDDEP’s Washington, D.C. office. Originally from North Carolina, she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Agroecology from NC State University, and her Master’s of Science in Global Health from Duke University. Prior to joining CDDEP, Wendi managed a program implementing food gardens in low-income neighborhoods in the greater Seattle area and worked on a project investigating the relationship between school gardens, child growth outcomes and cognitive function in Kenya. She is passionate about interdisciplinary health research, particularly the relationship between food systems, the environment and health outcomes. Outside of work, Wendi enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and experimenting with a wide variety of crafty endeavors.
