Policy Interns (Remote)
Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy (CDDEP) seeks a part-time Policy Intern to provide research and policy writing support to its staff. The position is open for remote/telework until further notice. The Policy Intern will work closely with CDDEP’s team of analysts, epidemiologists, and economists to support the organization’s role as a World Health Organization Collaborating Center. Tasks will include literature reviews, data cleaning and analysis, qualitative key informant/stakeholder interviews, and policy and report development. We seek applicants with backgrounds and interests in global public health, antimicrobial resistance, and policy analysis and writing. Experience and knowledge of public health systems in countries in Africa and southeast Asia are preferred. English language proficiency is required, and additional language skills are a plus. Project Coordinator – OxygenForIndia (Bangalore)
Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy (CDDEP) seeks an energetic individual to coordinate the OxygenForIndia National Oxygen Grid initiative. The position will be based on a work-from-home model for the initial months and based out of Bangalore in the long term. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the core teams of volunteers working on the OxygenForIndia initiative. The role will include coordinating with all important stakeholders and core teams leading different activities, regular reporting, overall coordination, and administrative support. The supervisor may assign other tasks as needed.
We seek applicants with backgrounds in public health/engineering/management. Candidates must have BA/BS, although an MA/MS is preferred. Work experience of 3-4 years in similar fields is desirable.
