The Research Analyst will work closely with the US team of epidemiologists, disease modelers, and economists to provide research support for health economics projects around vaccination, public health financing, and antibiotic consumption. Research-related tasks will include literature reviews, data cleaning and analysis, and manuscript preparation along with some grant and administrative support. The supervisor may assign other tasks as needed. The position will be based in CDDEP’s Silver Spring, MD office.
We seek applicants with backgrounds in statistics or economics (health economics preferred) for this position. Candidates must have BA/BS, although an MA/MS/MPH is preferred. We especially seek individuals with knowledge of economic analysis methods and good analytical reasoning and technical writing skills. Experience with statistical programming using R/STATA is required and programming experience in other languages including C/C++, SQL, or Python is a plus. Applicants must be well organized, attentive to detail, and able to work independently.
