The graphic was created by Research Associate Suraj Pant for the article, “The Epidemiology of Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae: The Impact and Evolution of a Global Menace,” published in The Journal of Infectious Diseases. The data were obtained from a review of current literature on carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae.
